In The Media Again
I was delighted to do an interview for an article by the Ilford Recorder.

Drink Me? Eat Me?
Even Alice in Wonderland didn’t have such a hard choice!
Baileys sponge cake samples!
It was so lovely to be exhibiting at the hugely popular wedding fair at Chigwell Hall,
Metropolitan Police Sports Club, Chigwell on Sunday 12th May.
We met so many lovely couples and look forward to working with some of you to
create the cake of your dreams!
Hold The Front Page!!
Well, maybe it’s actually page 14! But I’m still so excited to see my name in the press!
The Cake & Bake Show, Manchester Central
5th April - 7th April
I am absolutely delighted and honoured to be part of the team, working live in
The Wedding Showcase
within the Cake & Bake Show in Manchester.
I love seeing all the different venues that brides & grooms choose for their wedding reception and a little while ago, I delivered a wedding cake to one I hadn’t been to before. The Royal Regency - in Manor Park - is a stunning former theatre which can now cater for weddings of up to 1,000 guests!
I recently received copies of the professional photographs taken at Louise & Alan’s wedding at Blenheim Palace, by the talented and lovely Kay Clark, of www.kayclarkephotography.co.uk. Thank you so much for the gorgeous photos, Kay.
It was lovely to meet so many people at the Langton’s Wedding Fair on Sunday 30th October.
And don’t forget, there’s free* delivery and set-up of wedding cakes,
for deposits received by 14th November 2011
*Minimum order £350, within a 10 mile radius
OK... so it’s not ‘proper news’...
but I’m ridiculously excited! My 40 year old Kenwood Chef has been given a new lease of life with a full service and restoration. AND IT’S NOW PINK AND GLITTERY!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!
Charity Jazz Evening
On Friday 8th April, a charity jazz evening was held at Finchley Catholic High School. The evening, in aid of CWAC (Children With Aids Charity), was very well attended and over £1,000 was raised, by the 6th Form pupils who both arranged the event and performed on the evening! People were indeed very generous, buying lots of raffle tickets to win a box of our decorated musical notes cookies.
Red Nose Day 2011
The afternoon of Thursday 17th March was spent with staff and pupils at Sanders Draper School, Hornchurch, making and decorating cupcakes to sell to raise funds for Red Nose Day. Food Technology teacher, Miss Victoria Fell and star pupil Hannah Reed proudly show off some of the 150 cakes that we made. Thank you for inviting me into school; I hope that the cupcakes you sell raise a huge amount for this very deserving charity, as well as the Red Nose Cupcakes that were being raffled!
